Asia Tech Wire (June 11) -- Foxconn and Nokia will produce 5G equipment in Vietnam, according to Vietnamese media outlet VietnamPlus.

Nokia on Tuesday announced a partnership under which Foxconn will produce Nokia's AirScale 5G products in Vietnam's Bac Giang province.

The products include the latest generation of AirScale massive MIMO radios for 5G infrastructure.

The project will begin in July, with plans to increase production starting in September.
