Asia Tech Wire (Oct 28) -- Nokia announced on Monday that it and Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) will sign a one-year extension agreement to update its 5G network in central and southern Taiwan.
The project aims to improve the performance, capacity and energy efficiency of Chunghwa Telecom's 5G network and lay the groundwork for the Taiwanese firm's 5G-Advanced network evolution.
The companies said the related 5G network deployment is ongoing and is due to last 12 months.
