Asian Tech Press (OCT 21) -- DigiTimes cited industry sources that foundry quotes are expected to continue to rise in the following days.

After December, TSMC may raise its foundry price by 20%, while United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) has informed its customers that product prices will again increase by less than 10% from January next year.

Although the price increase trend continues, but in 2022 the magnitude is expected to slow down.

The new round of UMC's price increase will be lower than the previous quarters, while Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation (VIS) and TSMC are still negotiating with customers on the offer in the first quarter of next year, and the rate of increase is expected to drop compared to the previous quarters.
