Asian Tech Press (Sep 9) -- Only 10% of the one billion vehicles in use worldwide have been equipped with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) by the end of 2020, market research firm Canalys said on Monday, citing its latest research report.
The report points out that currently, one-third of new cars in major markets such as mainland China, Europe, Japan and the U.S. have had ADAS features. However, it will take several years to equip half of the world's in-use vehicles with the feature.
