Asian Tech Press (Feb 21) -- Germany's BMW denied rumors of selling its Oxford Mini plant to Chinese auto manufacturer Great Wall Motor (GWM).

The German automaker is considering selling its Oxford Mini plant to GWM, according to a report by Manager Magazin.

But BMW later responded that there was "no doubt" about the future of the plant and stressed that there were no plans to sell it.

BMW has formed a joint venture with GWM in China to produce fully-electric models of its MINI brand starting in 2023.
