Asia Tech Wire (June 13) -- Geoff Jiang, formerly vice president of Ant Group, has left the company due to personal life and work plans, according to the latest market news.
Jiang reportedly left the company on May 31, ending his seven-year tenure at Ant Group.
The Digital Technologies division, which Jiang previously led, started with Wenbiao Zhao, senior vice president of Ant Group and former president of the Security Business Group, as CEO.
Zhao had led the construction of Alipay and Ant Group's intelligent risk control systems AlphaRisk and IMAGE, and led the team around trusted AI, large security models and other key technologies.
At the beginning of March this year, Ant Group began a new round of organizational structure upgrades.
In this adjustment, Jiang no longer holds the position of president of the Intelligent Technology Business Group due to his personal life and work planning.
Until the end of May, he confirmed that he had left Ant Group.
