Asia Tech Wire (Aug 15) -- Ant Group is planning to acquire online healthcare services platform HaoDF, according to Chinese media reports.

Previously, it was Ant Group's sister company Alibaba Health that was in talks with HaoDF for the acquisition.

But recently, a source close to Ant Group revealed that the negotiating party has changed from Alibaba Health to Ant Group.

In the past two years, there have been frequent rumors about the acquisition of HaoDF by a Chinese Internet company.

According to people familiar with the matter, the valuation of HaoDF has gone all the way down over the past year, and the final acquisition price may be in the hundreds of millions of yuan.

In response, HaoDF said, "The company has no comment on this news, please refer to information released officially."
