Asia Tech Wire (Oct 23) -- Ant Group's database vendor OceanBase fully disclosed its commercial and ecological development for the first time on Wednesday.

Evan Yang, CEO of OceanBase, said that after four years of commercialization, the number of OceanBase customers exceeded 2,000, and the growth rate of customer number exceeded 100% for four consecutive years.

He revealed that the number of proprietary cloud customers grew by 50% and the number of public cloud customers grew by 130% in the past year.

In March this year, Ant Group announced that OceanBase has set up a board of directors and is independent for the market.
