U.S. stocks open: All three major indexes fall
At the opening of the U.S. stock market, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.88%, the S&P 500 fell 1.26%, and the Nasdaq fell 1.92%. Most of the star technology stocks opened lower, with Broadcom falling more than 5%, Nvidia falling more than 3%, and Tesla falling more than 2%. JD.com rose more than 0.5%, and the company's Q4 revenue increased by 13.4% year-on-year. It will repurchase up to $5 billion in shares in the next 36 months. Marvell Technology fell 18%, and its first-quarter revenue guidance was lower than Wall Street's highest expectations.
