China Electricity Council, TUV Rheinland, Jianheng, Aixu Technology and LONGi Green Energy jointly released the "BC Technology Industry White Paper" in Beijing. The white paper points out that the current mass production efficiency of BC technology batteries has exceeded 27%, which is 1.6% higher than the mass production efficiency of TOPCon (tunneling oxide passivation contact) batteries. The technical maturity and cost competitiveness are close to the traditional route; its theoretical efficiency limit of 29.1% is close to the theoretical efficiency ceiling of crystalline silicon.
