At the close of Hong Kong stocks, the Hang Seng Index closed up 2.84%, and the Hang Seng Technology Index closed up 4.02%. The Hong Kong Stock Technology ETF (159751) closed up 2.81%, and the Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect ETF (159318) closed up 2.11%. Semiconductor and technology stocks led the gains, with Xiaomi Group and Hua Hong Semiconductor rising more than 7%, and SMIC and Meituan rising more than 6%.
