At the close of Hong Kong stocks, the Hang Seng Index closed down 1.52%, and the Hang Seng Technology Index closed down 2.09%. The Hong Kong Stock Technology ETF (159751) closed down 1.64%, and the Hang Seng Hong Kong Stock Connect ETF (159318) closed down 1.10%. WuXi Biologics, Alibaba, and JD.com fell more than 5%, while Xiaomi Group rose more than 3%.
