At the close of Hong Kong stocks at noon, the Hang Seng Index fell 0.99% and the Hang Seng Technology Index fell 0.61%. BYD Electronics rose more than 5%, AAC Technologies and Meitu rose more than 3%; Evergrande Auto, Alibaba Health and Hisense Home Appliances fell more than 3%.
