Earlier market news said that Hon Hai will join hands with Japan's Honda, Nissan and Mitsubishi to form a four-party cooperation framework.

In this regard, Hon Hai spokesman James Wu said on Monday that as competition in the global automotive industry becomes increasingly fierce, the company's contract design and manufacturing service (CDMS) business should have higher acceptance.

Hon Hai hopes to have better development in this industry this year, and also hopes to share some good news about CDMS cooperation projects in the near future.
