ANA to order 77 aircraft from Boeing, Airbus and Embraer to expand international routes

Japan's All Nippon Airways (ANA) announced Tuesday that it will order a total of 77 aircraft from Boeing, Airbus and Embraer, bringing the total order amount to 2.16 trillion yen based on pricing.

Specifically, ANA will introduce 18 Boeing 787s for international routes and 20 Embraer E190-E2s for domestic routes.

In order to modernize its operating aircraft, ANA will also order 14 Airbus A321neo and 12 Boeing 737s.

Meanwhile, ANA's low-cost carrier Peach Aviation will bring in 13 Airbus small jets.

ANA plans to gradually introduce the ordered aircraft from FY2028 to FY2032, bringing the total number of aircraft in the group to about 320 by FY2030, an increase of nearly 20% from the end of FY2024 (272 aircraft), and the scale of its international route operations to 1.5 times the size of the FY2023 fleet by then.
