Asia Tech Wire (June 27) -- Toyota Motor Corp. announced Thursday it will sell its stake in major auto parts supplier Aisin Corp.

According to a statement, Toyota plans to sell 13,012,000 shares of Aisin stock, reducing its holding from 24.8% to 20%.

This follows Toyota's sale of a portion of its holdings in Denso Corp last year.
