Asian Tech Press (July 5) -- Tesla announced that it has built and opened more than 1,200 Superchargers in mainland China.

Tesla has built and opened more than 1,200 Superchargers and 700 destination charging stations in mainland China so far, covering more than 370 cities and regions, the company said in a post on the country's Twitter-like social platform Weibo on Sunday.

On the same day, Tesla posted its global production and delivery figures for the second quarter of 2022. According to the statistics, the U.S. electric car maker produced 258,580 units worldwide and delivered 254,695 units in the second quarter of the year.
