IM Motors, the electric vehicle unit of SAIC Motor Corp., announced on Wednesday the completion of its Series B1 equity financing, bringing its total Series B funding to 9.4 billion yuan (about $1.3 billion).

Zhiji Auto Technology changes its leader

According to the AiQiCha App, Zhiji Auto Technology Co., Ltd. has recently undergone industrial and commercial changes. Wang Xiaoqiu resigned as the legal representative and chairman, and was replaced by Jia Jianxu. Zhiji Auto Technology Co., Ltd. was established in December 2020 with a registered capital of approximately RMB 13.77 billion. Its business scope includes technical services, technical development, technical consulting, technical exchanges, technology transfer, and technology promotion in the fields of automotive technology, network technology, information technology, computer technology, and electronic technology. It is jointly held by Shanghai Yuanjie Intelligent Technology Equity Investment Fund Partnership (Limited Partnership), Hangzhou Haoyue Enterprise Management Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Automotive Group Co., Ltd.

China Passenger Car Association: Tesla's China wholesale sales in November reached 78,856 units

The China Passenger Car Association released data on December 9, showing that in November, the number of manufacturers whose monthly wholesale sales of new energy vehicles exceeded 10,000 vehicles reached 20 (an increase of 2 year-on-year and a decrease of 1 month-on-month), accounting for 94% of the total new energy passenger vehicles (93.9% last month and 89.2% in the same period last year). Among them, there were 504,003 vehicles from BYD, 122,453 vehicles from Geely Auto, 103,866 vehicles from SAIC-GM-Wuling, 93,592 vehicles from Changan Automobile, 78,856 vehicles from Tesla China, 72,443 vehicles from Chery Automobile, 48,740 vehicles from Li Auto, 42,301 vehicles from GAC Aion, 40,169 vehicles from Leapmotor, 37,220 vehicles from SERES, 35,885 vehicles from Great Wall Motor, 30,895 vehicles from Xpeng Motors, 23,156 vehicles from Xiaomi, 22,186 vehicles from Dongfeng Motor, 20,575 vehicles from NIO, 15,832 vehicles from SAIC Volkswagen, 13,604 vehicles from FAW Bestune, 13,059 vehicles from SAIC Passenger Cars, 11,122 vehicles from Polar Fox Auto, and 10,007 vehicles from Zhiji Auto.
