IM Motors, the electric vehicle division of SAIC Motor Corp., has responded to the cancellation of its Beijing branch.

Previously, IM Motors changed the registration status of its Beijing branch to canceled.

At the same time, IM Motors' branches in Shanghai, Suzhou and Nanjing remain open.

IM Motors responded that the cancellation was for the purpose of changing the place of registration, and that the branche will be changed to a subsidiaryin the future.
