Strategy Analytics's latest research report states that smartphone shipments in Chile grew 71 percent year-over-year to a record 2.9 million units in the first quarter of 2021.

Xiaomi performed spectacularly, growing more than 1,000 percent year-over-year to take third place and reach a record 16 percent market share. Xiaomi is on track to take second place by the end of the year.
