Samsung is expected to use its self-developed Exynos 2200 chip for the first time in its Galaxy S22 flagship phone series coming out next year. The chip will also use the mRDNA GPU in collaboration with AMD.

Recently, test data from an early version of the Exynos 2200 GPU running on a beta driver was revealed, and some of the data has far surpassed Apple's A14 Bionic.

In the Manhattan 3.1 test, Exynos 2200 ran at 170.7fps compared to A14Bionic's 120fps, and this advantage carried over to the Aztec Normal test, where Exynos 2200 reached 121.4fps compared to A14's 79.9fps. Similar results exist in the Aztec High test, with the Exynos2200 recording 51.5fps compared to the A14Bionic's 30fps.

These figures show a roughly 45 percent performance difference between the two chips, with the Exynos 2200 leading in all three tests. According to Front Tron, these tests were conducted in June 2021, running development beta drivers provided by AMD.
