Asia Tech Wire (July 3) -- Chinese drugmaker Hainan Poly Pharm Co Ltd (300630.SZ) announced on Wednesday that it has won a bid for a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation project together with UAE client Atome Pharma Group.

Based on the deal, Poly Pharm will supply dry suspension of azithromycin to Nigeria and Mali, totaling about 2.7 million bottles.

The products will ultimately be donated to children in Africa by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
