Asia Tech Wire (Oct 8) -- Japan's Nissan Motor will invest in ChargeScape, a vehicle-grid integration joint venture formed by BMW, Ford and Honda.
Nissan said Monday it will invest in ChargeScape, a battery charging technology company, and promote the company's services to its electric vehicle drivers in the U.S. and Canada.
Nissan will take a 25% stake in ChargeScape after the deal closes for an undisclosed investment amount.
ChargeScape is a joint venture between BMW, Ford and Honda announced last year, which expects more automakers to invest in it in the coming months.
