Liu Xiuyun, president of Alibaba's Southeast Asian e-commerce company Lazada Group, has announced her departure from the company, saying she will devote more time to her family after leaving.

Liu Xiuyun was a key member of Lazada's leadership team and served as head of LazMall, a marketplace for domestic and international brands that opened within the Lazada platform and has recently seen rapid growth.

Liu also became CEO of Lazada Thailand earlier this year, becoming the company's first female executive in charge of a national operation.
