And the new business unit, named IoT Video Business Unit, will focus on the fast-growing demand for video technology optimization in China.
"Video will become an enabler to drive the development of artificial intelligence and edge computing, and the purpose of the IoT Video Business Unit is precisely to promote the development of IoT video technology in a comprehensive manner," Chen said.

"It is more accurate to name the unit 'IoT Video Business Unit' rather than 'China Video Business Unit'," the insider stressed.
Some industry analysts said that a decision by Intel this year to put the "video industry" to a more important position, depends largely on the outbreaks of COVID-19, when the explosive growth of the short video industry and the surge in cameras bring lucrative business value.
