Jul.7,2021

Huawei's lawsuit against U.S. communications carrier Verizon for patent infringement will go to trial in Texas Today.

In February 2020, Huawei sued Verizon in two U.S. District courts in Texas for the unauthorized use of 12 patents, including optical transmission networks, and allegedly claimed more than $1 billion as compensation and royalty payments.

Verizon claimed that Huawei used Verzion's patents and filed counterclaims against Huawei, claiming the Chinese company violated its patents.

Last October, Huawei's lawsuit accusing Verizon routers, Smart Family, and One Talk APP of patent infringement went to trial in Texas. Earlier, Huawei sued T-Mobile, another major U.S. carrier, and the two sides reached a patent settlement in 2017.
