Asia Tech Wire (July 5) -- General Motors' new-energy vehicle (NEV) sales in China increased 24.1% year-on-year in the second quarter of this year.
General Motors (GM) sold more than 370,000 cars at retail in China in the second quarter of this year, according to data released by the U.S. automaker on Friday.
Among them, NEV sales rose 24.1% year-on-year to more than 143,000 units, including pure electric and plug-in hybrid models, which accounted for 38% of quarterly sales, a record high for the same period.
