Asian Tech Press (Sep 24) -- Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd, known as Geely, China's largest private auto group, announced Thursday that it will launch its first new energy heavy-duty concept truck this year.
Eric Li Shufu, the founder and Chairman of Geely, revealed at Transfar Group's Supply Chain Summit on Thursday that Farizon Auto, Geely's new energy commercial vehicle brand, will release a heavy-duty concept truck this year.
Li said the heavy-duty truck supports various new energy power forms such as pure electricity (including power exchange), extended-range hybrids and methanol, and provides users with a saloon-like experience through autonomous driving technology and a luxury cockpit.
Geely said that the concept car will redefine the productivity of land transportation, realize the whole life-cycle management of "people, vehicles, cargo, stations and electricity", and promote the zero-carbon future of land transportation system.
