Asia Tech Wire (June 28) -- Premium smart electric car brand BeyonCa announced on Friday that it will settle in Hong Kong's Tseung Kwan O InnoPark.
It also plans to set up its international headquarters, a vehicle assembly plant and four major centers here, namely a vehicle research and development and artificial intelligence center, a marketing center, a customer experience and smart health service center, and a big data center.
Leaving the Volkswagen Group for a year and a half, former Volkswagen executive vice president Weiming Soh officially unveiled the BeyonCa brand at the end of October 2022.
In addition to the backing of China's Dongfeng Motor and France's Renault, BeyonCa received investment from Saudi Arabia-based investment group Al Faisaliah Group (AFG) last year.
