Asian Tech Press (Nov 3) -- Shanghai-based electric car maker Nio Inc. (NYSE:NIO) announced Wednesday that the company has launched its 600th charging station in China.
The No. 600 charging station, located in Qingdao's Huangdao District, was built in partnership with China's top state-run oil refiner Sinopec Corp.
The company said in China so far, Nio has reached 40.01% coverage of "charging station districts", in which customers' houses are within 3 km from the charging station. And it has built a total of 50 charging stations in cooperation with Sinopec.
