Shinsegae's e-mart and portal site NAVER are reportedly expected to become the new owners of eBay Korea. eBay Korea has notified e-mart and NAVER of the bidding results, and e-mart has not yet stated its position on the matter.

The acquisition price has not been confirmed, but sources say that e-mart and NAVER have offered to acquire 80% of eBay Korea's shares. According to this estimate, the purchase price will be about 4.4 trillion won.
