National Business Wire (Dec 6) -- South Korean Internet giant Naver Corp. plans to launch a game streaming platform in the first half of next year, according to The Korea Times.
Naver said it is testing its game streaming service CHZZK by broadcasting StarCraft and League of Legends matches among its employees over a four-day period ending Friday.
The South Korean company plans to launch CHZZK officially in the first half of next year after an open beta test on Dec. 19.
CHZZK, may be an option for Twitch streamers in South Korea to move their communities.
Amazon's streaming platform Twitch on Tuesday announced that it will shut down its business in the Asian country on Feb. 27, 2024.
