Asian Tech Press (Nov 15) -- SALOON, the premium new energy vehicle brand of Chinese auto manufacturer Great Wall Motor (GWM), announced that it will launch its first luxury pure electric sedan with four LiDARs on Nov. 19.

The electric sedan is the world's first vehicle equipped with four LiDARs and will be unveiled at Auto Guangzhou 2021.

SALOON is a new high-end car project planned by GWM at the end of 2020, codenamed "SL Project" within the Chinese auto group.

And the brand will be officially positioned as a "hydrogen-electric" luxury brand to realize mass production of a full range of hydrogen passenger cars.
