China's Changan sets NEV sales target of 750,000 units for 2024

Asia Tech Wire (Sep 4) -- Chinese automaker Changan Automobile said at an earnings presentation on Monday that the company targets new energy vehicle (NEV) sales of 750,000 units in 2024.

Specifically, the Changan Nevo brand has an annual target of 250,000 units, while the company will launch the E07, the first production model featuring its new SDA Super Platform architecture, on top of ensuring sales of its existing products.

Its Deepal brand has a target of 280,000 units for the year, focusing on two new products, L07 and S05, in the second half of the year.

In addition, Changan Automobile has already released Deepal S07 in Southeast Asia, Mexico, and the Middle East African markets.

The Avatr brand has a full-year target of 90,000 units, and Changan Automobile will release the Avatr 07 as well as extended-range versions of the Avatr 11/12 in the second half of the year.
