Caocao Chuxing fined $30,976 for incomplete map of China

Asian Tech Press (Sep 23) -- Cao Cao Mobility, commonly known as Caocao Chuxing, Geely-backed ride-hailing platform, has recently been fined 200,000 yuan (about $30,976) for incomplete map of China.

China's National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System website recently a fine notice showing that Caocao Chuxing's operating entity, Hangzhou Youxing Technology Co. Ltd, was fined 200,000 yuan for drawing an incomplete map of China.

According to the decision on an administrative penalty, in the magazine related to Caocao Chuxing, there is the problem of the Chinese map omitting to draw Aksai Chin, southern Tibetan area, the Diaoyudao Islands and the islands in the South China Sea.

It is understood that the magazine has printed a total of 40,000 copies, more than 36,000 copies of the current magazine after recycling has been stored in the magazine publisher's warehouse.

The local regulator ordered Hangzhou Youxing to stop publishing advertisements with incomplete map of China, and fined 200,000 yuan and handed over to the state treasury.

In this regard, Caocao Chuxing responded Thursday that the magazine is its internal propaganda publication, not for public sale, and contents produced by party B. After discovering the problem, the company has recalled the magazines at the first time.
