Asia Tech Wire (June 18) -- Chinese state-owned automaker BAIC Group and battery maker CATL announced a strategic cooperation agreement on Tuesday.

Under the agreement, the two companies will cooperate in the areas of CATL Integrated Intelligent Chassis (CIIC), power-switching technology and V2G technology.

The details of the cooperation include the supply of power batteries, the introduction of power exchange technology and V2G technology, and the joint development and application of new CIIC models.

According to CATL, CIIC is a highly integrated EV chassis featuring battery/electric drive and Cell to Chassis (CTC) technology.
