At the Tencent Qianfan strategy conference on April 26, Tang Daosheng, senior executive vice president of Tencent and president of the Cloud and Intelligent Industry Group, said: "I firmly believe that strong industry leaders will emerge from China's SaaS (Software as a service) market ."
The three trends he observed:
The epidemic has accelerated the digitalization process of the whole society, and the demand for SaaS from enterprises is blowing up. With the strength of their products and the power of Qianfan's ecology, an increasing number of SaaS vendors have achieved rapid growth. Looking at the global market, SaaS accounts for more than 60% of the public cloud market. While the Chinese market is just the opposite, the underlying IaaS (Infrastructure as a service) accounts for the bulk of the market and SaaS only accounts for less than 30%."What can be expected is that SaaS applications on the cloud will become more abundant in the future, with huge growing potential." He said.
