Intel invests in Chinese power system service vendor for semiconductors

Asian Tech Press (Jan 21) --Intel Asia-Pacific Research & Development Ltd, an R&D facility of chipmaker Intel Corp. in China, recently invested in a Chinese power system service vendor for semiconductor industry.

According to a data sheet, the company called Jiangsu Shenzhou Semi Technology Co. Ltd. recently added Intel's Shanghai-based R&D facility as its shareholder, and its registered capital increased from 20 million yuan ($3.16 million) to 22,222,200 yuan ($3,506,019).

If other shareholders did not contribute this time, Intel should have invested 2,222,200 yuan ($350,599), increasing Shenzhou's total registered capital by 11.11%.
