Brainhole Tech buys shares of housing broker KE Holdings for $3.2 million

Asia Tech Wire (Oct 14) -- Hong Kong-based investment holding company Brainhole Technology Limited (2203.HK) has spent US$3.2 million to buy shares in Ke Holdings Inc. (BEKE:NYSE), China's largest housing broker.

Brainhole Tech disclosed that on October 11, 2024, the company purchased a total of 143,000 KE Holdings American Depositary Shares (ADSs) in the open market for a total consideration of approximately US$3.2 million.

The purchase took place at an average price of approximately $22.47 per share, with funds sourced from the company's internal financial resources.

Brainhole Tech said it is optimistic about the future prospects of KE Holdings and believes the purchase will help boost its return on investment.

On Oct. 2, the company purchased a total of 41,800 KE Holdings ADSs in the open market for a total consideration of about $100 million.
