Chinese self-driving technology company WeRide announced on Thursday that it has officially begun trial operation of its robobus at Zurich Airport.
WeRide said this is the first commercial landing of an autonomous bus shuttle project within an airport in Europe.
As planned, the WeRide robobus shuttle service at Zurich Airport will be officially put into operation in the first quarter of 2025.
In addition, WeRide's autonomous taxi Robotaxi has completed the map collection and drawing of routes at Zurich Airport, with more applications to follow.
