Trump: Deadline for TikTok's "sell or ban" law may be extended again
On March 6, local time, US President Trump said that if no deal is reached by April 5, he will "most likely" extend the sale deadline for the social video app TikTok. Trump said, "There are a lot of people interested in TikTok," and "We still have at least a month, so we don't need an extension." At the same time, Trump said he was willing to extend the deadline if necessary. In January this year, Trump signed an executive order after being elected as US President, requiring the short video social media platform TikTok's "no sale or ban" law to be temporarily suspended for the next 75 days. This also means that the implementation deadline of TikTok's "no sale or ban" law has been postponed to April 5.
