According to Nature Physics, researchers from the University of Innsbruck in Austria and the University of Waterloo in Canada have for the first time used a new type of quantum computer to achieve full-scale simulation of two-dimensional quantum field theory, opening up a new path for exploring the core mysteries of particle physics.
