The latest software update shows that Tesla's intelligent driving software system FSD has made its way further into China.

Tesla China announced on Tuesday that it has begun pushing the 2024.45.32.12 software update to customers in batches.

The most important upgrade of this OTA software update is "Autopilot automatic assisted driving on urban roads" (optimizing the existing NOA automatic assisted navigation driving function).

"When using Autopilot on controlled roads (main roads where road users enter and exit through ramp entrances and ramp exits) and city roads, Autopilot guides the vehicle out of ramps and intersections according to the navigation route, and recognizes traffic signals at intersections to perform straight, left, right, and U-turn maneuvers. It will also automatically perform lane changes based on the speed and route. When no navigation route is set, the optimal road will be selected based on the actual road conditions," said Tesla China.

It's worth noting that this OTA update is only available to a small number of car owners. Tesla's official customer service stated that the relevant functions are being pushed to some vehicles equipped with the FSD intelligent assisted driving function and equipped with HW4.0 assisted driving hardware.

In other words, the model requirements are Model Y/3 after February 2024, and the new Model S/X.
