Quantum computing and traditional supercomputers work together to simulate molecular behavior

IBM and RIKEN scientists have teamed up to combine quantum computers with supercomputers to successfully simulate the quantum behavior of a variety of molecules. This research result, published in Science Advances and Physical Chemistry B, has opened up a new path for chemical and drug research and development.
