OpenAI said on Friday that it is rolling out its so-called AI broker "Operator" to ChatGPT Pro users in Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom and other places. OpenAI said Operator will be available in most regions where ChatGPT is supported, except for the European Union, Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland. "Operator," which launched in the United States in January, is one of several "AI broker" tools on the market that can accept instructions to do things like book tickets, make restaurant reservations, submit expense reports or shop on e-commerce sites.
