Ming-Chi Kuo: All iPhone 17 models will be equipped with Apple's self-developed Wi-Fi chips
On February 21, Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at Tianfeng International Securities who has been following Apple's industry chain for many years, wrote that after Qualcomm, Broadcom's Wi-Fi chips will also be replaced by Apple's self-made chips, and the replacement speed will be faster. His latest industry survey shows that all new iPhone 17 models in 2H25 will use Apple's self-made Wi-Fi chips (compared to the new iPhone 17 in 2H25, only the ultra-thin iPhone 17 will use the Apple C1 modem). In addition to reducing costs, Apple's switch to its own Wi-Fi chips will help enhance the user experience of its own products' interconnection in the future.
