Mexico may file lawsuit over Starship debris landing in country
On June 25, local time, Mexican President Sheinbaum said at a press conference at the presidential palace that the Mexican government is investigating the fall of the "Starship" rocket debris of the US Space Exploration Technology Company (SpaceX) and is considering filing a corresponding lawsuit in accordance with international law. On June 18, a "Starship" test rocket exploded severely during a static ignition test. Mexican media reported that part of the rocket debris fell into the coastal area of Tamaulipas State in northeastern Mexico, and the pollutants it brought have affected the local ecological environment.
