During the Spring Festival holiday, the "national subsidy" policy attracted more consumers to mobile phone retail stores to buy phones. On January 29, the first day of the Lunar New Year, the Huawei flagship store on Nanjing East Road in Shanghai was crowded with people, and a considerable number of users came to replace their phones using the "national subsidy" policy. Not far from this Huawei direct store is a smaller Huawei retail store. On that day, reporters witnessed at least five customers purchasing phones through the "national subsidy" at the same time. On the same day, at the Xiaomi retail store in Shanghai International Trade Plaza, three generations of a family came to Xiaomi to help an elderly person purchase a Xiaomi phone that met the "national subsidy" requirement. Before the Spring Festival, an OPPO retail store in Yangpu District, Shanghai became extremely busy. The number of users who came to the store to consult about purchasing a phone increased significantly, and most of them came to replace their phones for the "national subsidy" policy. The store manager told reporters that they usually sell about 10 machines a day, but now they sell 17 or 18 a day. Most of the extra machines are machines that meet the "national subsidy" requirement, and sales have increased by more than 70%.
