Liu Qiangdong appointed as the Dean of JD Discovery Institute

On September 25th, at the JD Global Technology Explorers 2025 Conference, JD CEO Xu Ran announced that JD will continue to invest in AI development over the next three years, driving a trillion-yuan AI ecosystem. JD will also open up scenarios to serve embodied intelligence enterprises, including model training and application testing. Xu Ran also announced that Richard Liu has been appointed Dean of the JD Discovery Institute.
