According to multiple media reports on December 23, the Japan Fair Trade Commission intends to issue a rectification order to Google for suspected violations of the Anti-Monopoly Law. The commission believes that Google is suspected of violating regulations by requiring smartphone manufacturers to pre-install the Google Search APP first. It is reported that the Japan Fair Trade Commission has issued a disciplinary plan notice to Google and will make a formal disciplinary decision after listening to opinions. Google said in a statement: "We will continue to work closely with the Japanese government to show how we support the Android ecosystem in Japan and expand user choices." The company said it will present its arguments during the hearing. Google also said that the Japan Fair Trade Commission did not fully consider the solution proposed by the company and was disappointed.
